55-Years Later: Probe Into Deadly 1970 Arson Attack on Jewish Elderly Home in Munich

I was very excited to read the article below in the March 3, 2025, Algemeiner.

Why? Because in September 1970 my U.S. Army Officer husband and I arrived at our duty station in Munich and heard about this unsolved crime. And now after 55 years this still unsolved crime is being investigated!

And here’s something I didn’t know in June of 1971 when my husband and I were flying from Munich to Tel Aviv to meet members of my family. (I did wonder why a German soldier wielding a machine gun was guarding the plane on the runway. This German soldier with a machine gun did make me nervous as it was only 26 years after the end of WWII and the Holocaust.)

“One week before the arson, Palestinian terrorists opened fire on passengers lined up for a flight to Tel Aviv at Munich Airport, killing one person and injuring 23.”

IT IS NEVER TOO LATE!
