Jewish Resisters in Nazi Germany

Scholar Wolf Gruner talks about his new book RESISTERS: HOW ORDINARY JEWS FOUGHT PERSECUTION IN HITLER’S GERMANY. He upends the common notion of passive Jews in Hitler’s Germany and expands the concept of resistance.

He is the Shapell-Guerin Chair in Jewish Studies and a professor of history at the University of Southern California, where he is also the founding director of the USC Dornsife Center for Advanced Genocide Research.
