Dumes Family Documentary

Phyllis Zimbler Miller’s second cousin Bruce Dumes in January 2023 created this documentary on their family history. The documentary — while specific to the Dumes family originally of Viski, Latvia (Phyllis is named for her maternal grandmother Fannie Dumes Fishman) — is also very representative of the story of Eastern European Jews who immigrated to the U.S. in the early years of the 20th Century.
