Announcing March 2024: Feature-length documentary of 10 student-produced documentaries is available for educational purposes. For permission to screen the documentary (no screening fee), email pzmiller@gmail.com
Given the alarming rise of antisemitism around the globe since October 7, this documentary has become very timely.
The range of the 10 documentaries of these non-Jewish high school students is quite varied — all choices of the students — from interviewing a young Muslim male in Malmo, Sweden working against antisemitism to featuring a Jewish gay organization working to promote tolerance.
The titles of the individual documentaries and their student producers are:
“Luke Berryman and the Ninth Candle” — McKenna Hopkins, Pamela De La Concepcion
“Keshet” — Mac Klinger
“Catherine Bernstein” – – Kenyen Vignaude, Jorge Mazariegos, Justin Denton
“Siavosh Derakhti” — AJ Foster, Mia Galindo
“Dov Forman” — Noah Cheney, Jaxson Krzyzanowski
“Gen Z Jews” — Camila Monroy, Sam Dankel
“Fighting Online Antisemitism” — Tim Addison
“B’nai Brith” — Carlos Cabrera
“Magen Chicago” — Jason Phillips
“Evelyn and Rosa” — Jordan Weynschenk
Co-directors/executive producers Phyllis Zimbler Miller in Los Angeles and Brian Erlich in Elgin, Illinois worked closely together to assemble the student-produced documentaries into an overall film.
