Thank You From the Recipient of a ProjectMOT Care Package
Dear MOT Participants and Donors:
I recently received a care package from the Jewish POC / lay-leader at Camp Casey. I’m writing to thank you and everyone who participated for the time, effort, and heart that you put into it.
I am stationed at Camp Hovey (a sister-base to Camp Casey), about 15 miles from the DMZ in Korea, and while our environment is different than what other soldiers face in Afghanistan, it is still a challenging duty station with a high tempo of operations, a harsh climate, and, most of all, far from home.
Reading the letters of gratitude from members of your communities was a heart-warming and made my day. Know that your expressions of thanks mean a lot and make a positive difference.
Thank you again.

Editor’s note: Please remember that ProjectMOT sends packages several weeks ahead of a specific Jewish holiday due to the time required for packages to reach overseas military sites. Hanukkah packages have already been sent (especially as Hanukkah is so early this year).
Now is a good time to connect with ProjectMOT at projectmot@aol.com for Pesach packages, including students making cards to be included in the packages.
(For security purposes — cards and packages must be sent from designated organizations to specific individuals for distribution onsite.)
P.S. And here is a thank you from a very different overseas duty station.
